FURLESS 'Must Have' Pro Brush Set: Updated

Hi ALL!! This is a review of the FURLESS Must Have Pro Brush Set. Sorry it's long but it's worth rambling on about. These are now my favourite brushes!

Furless is an Australian brand specialising in animal and cruelty free makeup brushes and cosmetics. After ogling at their pro brush set for months, I decided to buy it! I've been using this set for awhile now and I am very pleased. The quality is amazing - super soft bristles! Although synthetic, they pick up pigment and apply very well. Their brushes are 'crimped' to simulate natural hair!
**Note: I bought this with my own money and I am not an affiliate of the company. My review is purely based on the quality of the brushes and my experience with the company :) Here is a breakdown of the set:

- Brush set retailed at $149.95
- Includes: 20 pro brushes with brush case (that doubles as a belt)
- If you don't feel that you need the whole set.. These brushes can be bought individually (prices listed with the desciption)
- Worldwide shipping

PRO1F Angled Foundation Brush $12.95

This foundation brush is angled for precision to get around those 'hard to reach' areas like around the eyes, nose and lip. The brush is very tightly packed but isn't harsh on the face and doesn't leave streak lines like some other foundation brushes.

PRO2F Pointed Contour Brush / Blush Brush $12.95

This brush can be used as a contour brush but it's great for blush application because its the perfect size. Nice and fluffy for blending and not too big for the cheeks.

PRO3F Powder Brush $14.95

The typical standard powder brush.. extremely soft and fluffy. Applies powder very lightly which makes it perfect for setting foundation.

PRO4F Buffing Brush $14.95

This brush is great for both powder and liquid foundation application and enhances the coverage. The edges of this brush can also be used to apply contour to the hollows of the cheeks. Also great for buffing out your make-up when you feel like you've been a little too heavy handed with a particular product!

PRO5F Angled Contour Brush $12.95

This brush can be used for applying contour to the face. The angled edge also makes this brush great for applying blush with great definition.

PRO6F Stippling Brush $14.95

This 'duo' fiber stippling brush is completely vegan. It can be used to apply all sorts of foundation (great for anything creamy or "liquidy"), contouring and powders.

PRO1M Pointed/Tapered Blending Brush $11.95

A very different looking brush but great for blending the crease - the point on this brush makes blending more precise. It can also be used for blending out concealer and the point helps you get to the sides of the nose and the inner eye area.

PRO2M Precision Detailing Brush $11.95

I use this brush to apply shadow under the eye or to highlight the inner corner. When doing a cut-crease look, I use this brush to get a really sharp line.

PRO3M Blunt Pencil Brush / Bullet Brush $11.95

This brush fits nicely into the crease and can be used to blend out harsh lines with more precision than a domed blending brush.

PRO4M Concealer Brush $11.95

This brush is a good tool for applying concealer.. I usually don't like sticking my fingers into anything that's cream or liquid because of contamination and bacteria growth etc. Although, this brush can't be used to blend in concealer because it can look streaky. To blend concealer.. use the PRO1M.

PRO5M Fan Brush $15.95

You will not believe how soft this brush is!! It is THE softest fan brush I have EVER layed hands on. Great for applying highlight to the face and brushing away fallout from eyeshadows. This fan brush is also great for applying shimmer to the body.

PRO6M Pencil Brush $11.95

This brush is extremely handy for smudging out liner or shadow on the lash line.

PRO7M Angled Liner Brush $11.95

This angled liner brush can be used to draw, shape or colour the eyebrows. I primarily use it to apply gel liner. This brush gives a precise line!

PRO1E Lash/Brow Groomer $11.95
Lash Groomer - I love love love the metal groomer! It separates lashes and removes mascara clumps so much better than plastic ones!
Brow Groomer - For whatever reason, half the bristles of my brow groomer fell out after only a couple of uses (which I'm sure is a rare case). But.. FURLESS so kindly sent me a new one free of charge! I'll take this opportunity to let everyone know that in my experience with them, FURLESS is excellent with their (before and after sales) customer service.. This is a prime example!

PRO2E Blending Brush $11.95

Apply your shadow and blend it out with this brush or.. just use it without shadow to blend!

PRO4E Angled Shading Brush $11.95

This brush is great for applying shadow to the outer eye area or blending out your eyeshadow.

PRO6E Precision Liner Brush$11.95

This liner brush is bent which makes it easier to get a precise line and to achieve the perfect winged eyeliner look!

PRO7E Domed Blending Brush $11.95

The typical domed blending brush - extremely fluffly and blends out shadows easily.. great for the crease!

PRO8E Eyeshadow Brush $11.95

This brush is used to lay down your eyeshadow and it's also fluffy.. so you can start blending with it!

PRO1L Lip Brush $11.95

The typical lip brush.. use this to dip into your lip pots or lipsticks and get defined lips!

Brush Case/Belt/Apron - $39.95

You get all your brushes in this belt/apron when you buy the set! Holds all 20 brushes with room to store so many extras! It is very easy to clean make-up off of this belt! Good way to store and protect your brushes.

THANKS FOR VISITING!! xx

  1. I know it's an Australian company, but do you know where the brushes are made? I'm guessing China...(like everything).

  2. Hey there! I'm not exactly sure what country but the brushes are infact imported (I personally messaged the company). The quality of these brushes are very good though if you're worried about them being 'made in China'. Thanks for your post :) x
